I was a dispatcher for the Call Before You Dig center. The tasks of the job itself were interesting and almost fun, it was the callers that made my life hell. I think having that job is part of why I now have such a low tolerance for people who try to weasle out of answering a straight forward question. I learned there that *everybody* with a request thinks that they're the most important person in the world. Like the jackass in the clip you posted. We are, indeed, doomed.

Yep- We surely, surely are.
I've had several jobs (including this one) that are phone based- and they always make me want to kill, just not as much at this one.
